How does the process work?
- Online: Submit your hookah’s specs and photos through our online valuation form. Our team will review your submission and email you an official appraisal value within 24 hours. After you order your new hookah, we’ll include a prepaid inbound return shipping label right in the box. Pack your old hookah securely and drop it off within 14 days; once inspected at our facility, we issue your credit or partial refund.
- In-Store: Bring your clean hookah to our retail location. An associate will inspect it on the spot and apply your trade-in credit directly toward a new hookah that day.
Can I trade more than one hookah at a time?
Yes, you can trade in multiple hookahs during a single visit. However, the trade-in credit for each hookah must be applied individually to separate new hookah purchases.
Can I trade my hookah for cash or store credit?
No, the trade-in value is offered as a discount on a new hookah purchase only. The value cannot be redeemed for cash or converted to store credit.
Can I use the trade-in discount for products other than a hookah?
No, the trade-in credit is only valid toward the purchase of a new hookah. It cannot be used for any other items, including accessories, parts, or tobacco.
How long do I have to send in my trade-in?
Once your new hookah arrives with the included prepaid return shipping label, you have 14 days to pack your old pipe and drop it off with the carrier. If the trade-in is not shipped within the 14-day window, the return label expires and your trade-in valuation is cancelled.
What happens if i change my mind after trading in my hookah?
Once the trade-in process is completed and the discount is applied to a new hookah purchase, the transaction is final. No refunds, exchanges, or cancellations will be accepted. Please ensure you are satisfied with the trade-in value and your new hookah before completing the purchase.
Can Hookah Zone refuse a trade?
Yes, Hookah Zone reserves the right to refuse any trade-in for any reason. This includes, but is not limited to, concerns about the ownership or legitimacy of the hookah being traded, or if the item is damaged beyond reasonable repair.
What happens if the condition doesn't match my submission photos?
Our valuations are based on the photos and details provided in your form. If our warehouse inspection uncovers undisclosed structural issues (such as stripped threads, pinhole leaks, hairline base cracks, or internal corrosion), we will email you an adjusted valuation with photo documentation. If you decline the updated offer, we will ship your hookah back to you at standard shipping cost.
How should I clean and package my hookah for shipping?
Clean & Dry: All stems, downstems, trays, and ports must be thoroughly washed, descaled, rinsed of ghosted flavors, and 100% dried before boxing. Wet components will corrode during transit.
Base Protection: Glass bases must be wrapped generously in heavy-duty bubble wrap and cushioned on all sides. Please note: Hookah Zone is not liable for items broken in transit due to improper packing; damaged or shattered glass on arrival voids the base portion of your trade-in valuation.
